The Full Story

I am Milan, a mining engineer with over 10 years of experience in mine design, production planning, and technical services support for mining operations. I graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Geology, and over the course of a decade, I have contributed to greenfield projects and mining operations, covering the full mine lifecycle – from conceptual studies to operational startup.
 

Throughout my career, I have worked with major mining companies including Rio Tinto, Zijin Mining, and HBIS Group, contributing to greenfield development projects, operational optimization, and feasibility studies.

My work has included:
 

- Open pit and underground mine design
- Production planning and haulage optimization
- Waste dump design and planning
- Integration of geotechnical, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Project alignment with international and local standards (IRMA, BAT, Regulations)
- Analysis of impacts on local communities, cultural heritage, and long-term sustainability

I specialize in Deswik (CAD, Scheduler, LHS, Enviro Tool), Surpac, and Whittle, focusing on practical, compliant, and sustainable solutions.
 

Through MB Mine Tech Assist, I provide consulting services in mine design, production planning, environmental solutions, and project optimization – from conceptual studies to operational phase.
