The MB MineTechAssist Blog will be available starting February 1st.

This blog is a place where I’ll share practical thoughts, experiences, and observations from real mining projects, along with lessons learned while working as a mining engineer in both operational and study environments.

Topics on the blog will vary and may include:

  • Mine planning challenges and real-world solutions

  • Open-pit and underground design considerations

  • Production scheduling tips and common mistakes

  • Working with mining software in practice (not just theory)

  • Feasibility studies, trade-offs, and decision-making

  • Everyday engineering problems that don’t always make it into reports

Some posts will be technical, some more general, and some simply reflections on working in the mining industry. The idea is not to be perfect or academic, but honest, practical, and useful.
